Dionne Haroutunian is the recipient of numerous awards and grants, including the Neddy Award. Her work has been exhibited nationally, as well as in Europe, Mexico and China. She is represented by Art Expressions Gallery, in San Diego/California.

In May 2009, she was sent as a U.S. State Department¡¯s Cultural Envoy to Nigeria, where taught printmaking at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, and gave lectures at the IMT University in Enugu and at UniLag in Lagos.

In 1991, she founded the Sev Shoon Arts Center, a vibrant artists¡¯ community that offers exhibit opportunities, international residency program, and 24/7 access to the printmaking studio. Dionne is also a partner in BallardWorks artists' studio building, a large facility that hosts twenty individual artists¡¯ studios, and two art-focused businesses. She is also a founding member of Seattle Print Arts.
