Greetings to all of you!        
First of all we wish to congratulate Zhao Heng and the organizing committee of   ※Her Presence In Colours VIII- International Women Artists Exhibition 每 Beijing 每2008§ for their success in organizing ※Her Presence In Colours VIII- International Women Artists Exhibition 每Beijing 每2008§.  To all the women artists who participated in the exhibition, my heartfelt and sincere appreciation.  

While refreshing our memories of the wonderful experience when we meet and enjoyed the beauty and joy of spring in Beijing, INWAC is now planning for the coming Her Presence In Colours IX- International Women Artists Exhibition to be held at USA Littman Gallery, Smith Hall at Portland State University. This exhibition is jointly presented by International Women Artists Council, International Women Artists每 USA Oregon   (INWAA-USA Oregon) in cooperation with Oregon Women's Caucus for Art and under the auspicious of Portland State University.  The theme: ' &Reflection on Oneself: self-portrait.'  is related to self awareness and female identity. Adjunct Prof Una Kim, the appointed chairperson of International Women Artists每 USA (INWAA-USA) and Karen Swallow, the Chairperson of Oregon Women's Caucus for Art welcome all the members of International Women Artists and new comers to take part in the coming Presence in Colours IX 每 International Women Artists Exhibition 每 USA 2010.

            The aims of the Her Presence in Colours series of exhibitions are:

1.      To provide a platform for women artists of various cultural backgrounds to exhibit their works under one roof so as to foster goodwill and international friendship.

2.      To foster the awareness women*s art that reflects the innermost sensibilities and thoughts of the women artists and their aspiration for art, life and aesthetic.

3.       It is our hope that Her Presence in Colours exhibition series will help to call forth the love for Humanity, Peace and Harmony.

100 women artists from different countries of the world will be involved in this meaningful cultural event. For more information about the exhibition please refer to the enclosed materials as below:

Kindly return the ARTIST FORM & Confirmation Statement to Conservatory of Fine Arts/INWAC (see address at letterhead) on or before 30 January 2009.

Confirmation of your status as a participant is based on your submission of all the required materials and the registration fee of 200 US dollars (not inclusive of bank transfer charges)
