“Siti’s Diary & Beyond” will be held Galeri Art Point (No: 46 & 48, Jalan Chow
Thye, 10050 Penang) on 15th December to 29th December.
This is the first solo exhibition by Siti Mariah
Jackson, a Malaysian female artist who now resides in Champaign, USA.

sculptures created by Siti Mariah will be on displayed
About Siti Mariah Jaskson
A former graduate
of the Mara Institute of Technology in Kuala Lumpur, Siti Mariah Jackson was
an art teacher in Penang during the early 1980s. She was part of the Malaysian
Art Examination Panel. Recipient of the Federal Teaching Scholarship to pursue
her Master of Fine Arts at the University of Illinois, she graduated in 1988.
She married artists Billy Morrow Jackson, both were commissioned to create an
art book entitled: On the
Island:
An Artistic view of Mahta’s Vineyard
published by Spotlight Press in 2005. Siit Mariah has participated in public
commissions as well as local, national and international art shows.
