Dr. Prapapan Nakavachara was born in Nakhonsawan, Thailand in 1947. She is an gynaecologist and artist, currently working at Bumrungrad International Hospital and painting as amateur.

She is the Chairperson of International Women Artists-Thailand. In1999 she arranged Her Presence in Colors 4 at Suan Pakkard Palace, Bangkok, Thailand which precided over the opening ceremony by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

She has exhibited in numerous group exhibition since 1995 in Thailand and internationally.              

For the Thais , rice is not only important as the main food that they eat at every meal, it is also as an instrument to express kindness  among people as a gift. Rice has cultural significance which is used in Royal ploughing Ceremony in Thailand to mark the traditional beginning of the rice growing season.

So rice gives all better quality of human life for Thai society for physical, mental and cultural value.
