Her Presence In Colors IX –
International Women
Artists Exhibition
-USA 2010
held at Littman Gallery showcasing female artists' work centered on
self-portraiture. The theme: “Self Portrait - Reflection of Oneself”
provides a guideline and overtone for the entire exhibition that reflects
self awareness, vision and sensitivities related to the artists” gender .
The artworks on display were 86 portraits
created by women artists from 22 countries.
(4 artists works did not arrived in time for the exhibition)

The opening of the exhibition on
the 5th of August at Littman Gallery is the best attended exhibition so
far at Portland State University. Women artists from various countries
arrived at Portland on the 1st of August 2010. They attended the welcoming
reception at the mayor's office on the 3rd of August.
Other related events included an artists' forum, a walk through the
galleries of the Pearl District, sketching at the Lan Su Chinese Garden. |
