12 Women artists from different regions of Asia presented their works which reflected the coherent characteristics and the
innemost sensibilities of the individual woman artists

  OPENING CEREMONY
 

Keynote and welcome address by Ms Yuen Chee Ling, Director of Conservatory of Fine Arts and Chairpeson of Women Arts Assoiciates.    Y. B. Dato Kee Phaik Cheen the Penang State executive Councillor for Tourism ,Culture, the Arts and Women's Development delivered her speech.
 

Madam Nancy Koh Lee, The Honorary President presented a souvinir to T.Y.T Tun Dato Sri ( Dr.) Haji Hamdan bin Sheikh Tahir S.M.N.,P.S.M.,D.U.P.N.,D.M.P.N.K.M.N., The Governer of Penang   The Penang State Government represented by Y.B. Dato Kee Phaik Cheen,  State Executive Councillor for Tourism ,Culture, the Arts and Women's Development hosted the welcome dinner for the Asian / International Women Artists at the Sharaton Hotel after the opening.
